Who we are
Le Coin du Rocher is a neighbourhood bistro and wine bar at 88 rue du Rocher, near Villiers metro (Paris 8th). Le Coin, as regulars call it, serves traditional French cooking, 100% homemade, and wines chosen from winemakers in all the great French regions.
Edith, the owner
Edith Faliès looks after the dining room and advises on pairing dishes with wines. She knows her winemakers and will find the bottle that goes with your meal.
Thierry, the chef
Thierry Hingamp stands for generous French cooking, faithful to tradition and entirely homemade. Food lovers return the compliment.

A few milestones
- On 30 January 2019, as part of “Paris célèbre ses bistrots”, the City of Paris awarded its vermeil medal to around a hundred Parisian bistros. Le Coin du Rocher was represented by Edith Faliès.
- The restaurant has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.
